SoilWrap® — biodegradable, printable and plantable
NEW! Now Available!
|
|
Here today, gone tomorrow — at both retail and in the ground! The unique design of SoilWrap gives you and your customers a sustainable alternative to plastic. The bottomless soil-biodegradable pot encourages fast rooting with no transplant shock. It also allows the root system to come into contact with soil immediately for fast take-off.
SoilWrap consists of Mirel®, a 100% renewable material made from biopolymers produced by microbes. SoilWrap becomes food for beneficial soil microbes and biodegrades in just one season in the garden. Print your custom message on SoilWrap to let consumers know this is the eco-friendly alternative they've been looking for.
Available in three standard sizes — 3.5 in., 4.5 in. and Quart — with matching PLA or conventional plastic trays. Click here to download the Standard SoilWrap Order Form. SoilWrap® — Now with Root Windows!
This year we've added Root Windows to SoilWrap. These three-eighths inch long vertical flaps allows the plant’s roots to push lateral roots into surrounding soil once it’s planted. There are more than 20 windows on the surface of each SoilWrap. This new feature also encourages beneficial soil microbes by exposing edges on which they feed and degrade SoilWrap in the garden.
