Grower Information
: - Daylength-neutral plants bloom quickly during short and long days.
- Giant White is the most free-flowering, heat-tolerant and versatile bacopa on the market, ideal for mixed containers and hanging baskets.
- The Colossal varieties offer larger flowers and a slightly more upright habit, suitable for pot-tight production and smaller containers. More responsive to Cycocel, Colossal varieties are the best choice for higherdensity production. Ideal for baskets and combos.
- A “2 for 1” series – pay for one unrooted cutting, get two to plant.
Propagation Information
: Stick 2 cuttings per cell.
Culture Information
: Pinch as needed to shape. Grow Bacopa bright and cool to maximize branching and encourage best possible habit. Test soil regularly for high pH/iron deficiency. Free-branching and trailing Abunda Giant White is ideal for combination pots, baskets and 4 to 6-in. (10 to 15-cm) pots. Colossal varieties provide larger blooms and a slightly more upright habit, and are more responsive to Cycocel.
Plant Growth Regulators
: Generally not needed. B-Nine (Spray) 1,000-1,500 ppm can be used to tone and control spread. Florel (Spray) 150-200 ppm will reduce early flowering and increase branching. Colossal varieties respond to Cycocel sprays (500-750 ppm) to maintain upright habit for pot-tight production.
